Mark Tickle

Dr. Tickle earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also completed a strenuous Implant Dentistry Continuum in order to provide our patients with the latest in modern tooth replacement treatment.

He is a current member of the Alabama Dental Association, American Dental Association, the International Dental Implant Association, the Sixth District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry..

Dr. Tickle and his wife, Brandee, have have two active little boys, Jackson and Jacob. They are active members at Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.

When he is away from the dental office, Dr. Tickle and his family enjoy their time outdoors, taking yearly vacations to the beach and spending time with his family. He also enjoys watching college football, basketball, and fishing.

Judith Huff-Shack

Hygienist

Judith is a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 15 years experience. 

Being in love with dentistry her entire life, she decided on a career change in 2000 after moving home from Tennessee. Judith worked for local periodontist, Dr. Mary Linda Sullivan, for 7 years and more recently for Dr. Bennie Goggans for 11 years until his retirement in 2018.

Judith is a married mother of 4 adult children and the grandmother of 3 grandsons. She enjoys reading, singing and Alabama football, Roll Tide.

Jacqueline Smith

Hygienist

Jacky entered the dental field in 1996 as a dental assistant, until she received her RDH in 2000. As a hygienist, she is constantly striving to improve her skills and learn new technologies to benefit her patients. She has two sons, Calvin and Ron, and five grandchildren. She is an active member at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. When she is away from the office she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, reading, walking, photography, and camping.

Kimber Sullivan

Receptionist

Kimber is one of the friendly voices you will hear when you call our office. She would love to help with scheduling your appointment. She is a graduate of Patrician Academy. She graduated the dental assisting program at MCC in 2014. She has been a dental assistant/front office receptionist in pediatric dentistry for four years. Kimber loves spending time with her two children, cheering on her husband's baseball team, and watching Alabama football.

Niki Hall

Insurance

Niki is the other cheerful voice you will hear when calling the office. She is from Tuscaloosa and has over twenty years of experience in dentistry. She will be happy to help you with any financial or insurance questions you may have. Niki has two children, Landon and Anna Kate. They are active members of Church of the Highlands. In her spare time, Niki enjoys shopping, restoring old furniture, and decorating. She also enjoys outdoor activities and Alabama football.

Gabbie Lay

Assistant

Gabbie is a graduate of Demopolis High School. She went on to attend dental assisting school at Capstone Dental where she graduated. She has a little boy named Harbor. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and watching Alabama football. She is an active member at Church of the Highlands.

I was in a lot of pain because of a toothache but I was able to make an appointment for the very next day. I was taken into the operatory upon my arrival and Dr. Tickle was able to remove the problem tooth quickly without any problems.
